Introducing Bury Hospice
Bury Hospice is a registered charity providing end of life and palliative care to people who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting disease, living in the six towns of Bury.
Our care is provided to any person over the age of 18 who is registered with a GP in the Bury area.
We currently care for around 350 patients and their families every year.
It costs in the region of £1.8 million to run Bury Hospice each and every year. Less than 20 per cent of this is funded by the NHS and therefore we have to generate more than 80 per cent of our own income every year through fundraising, Hospice shops and the Bury Hospice lottery.
All care is provided entirely free of charge and is offered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
